Last week our froglets and tadpoles arrived! We were really happy to see them! We put the frogs and tadpoles in a small tank. We had to put them in separate tanks because the frogs would eat the tadpoles. We put them in our Science Center to look at them and observe them! We also have books about frogs and tadpoles for us to read. We have a journal that we can write and record what we see the frogs and tadpoles doing. We are recording the changes we see in our tadpoles and froglets. If you look very closely at our tadpoles you can see their hearts. The tadpoles have transluscent skin that you can see through. We like to be scientists by observing and reseaching our frogs and tadpoles. Forrest is our feeder. He gives our froglets four pellets and gives our tadpoles one scoop of tadpole food each day! He is a responsible friend. He will be training other friends soon on how to be a fabulous feeder! All of our friends work together to check on the frogs and tadpoles to make sure they are alive and doing well. We voted on names for our tadpoles and frogs. We are not very sure if they are girls or boys. So we decided to come up with girl and boy names just in case. Our frogs' names are Bella and Richard. Our tadpoles names are Fancy and Michael. We love our new buddies!
